LitePage Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026

Overview

LitePage scans paper documents and creates PDF and JPG files. Scanning, cropping, color conversion, enhancement and PDF creation take place on your device. No LitePage account is required.

Documents and local storage

LitePage stores captured or imported images, document names, page order, editing settings and processed images in the app's local storage so you can edit documents and restore them after restarting. Original photos may contain metadata such as the capture date or location. LitePage does not use location services to track you. We do not operate a server that receives or stores your scans.

Camera and photo access

The camera is used when you choose Scan. Photo access or the system photo picker is used when you choose Import. You can manage available permissions in your device settings. Declining camera access does not prevent you from importing images through the system picker.

Sharing and exported copies

When you choose Share PDF or Share JPGs, LitePage prepares a local PDF or ZIP file and opens the system share sheet. You choose the receiving app, service or destination. That destination handles the exported copy under its own privacy practices. Copies you share or save outside LitePage are not removed when you delete the document in LitePage.

Purchases

On iOS, Apple handles payments and purchase restoration through the App Store. LitePage checks verified purchase status on your device to unlock paid features, and requests product pricing from Apple. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple processes purchase-related information under its own privacy practices.

Advertising, analytics and tracking

LitePage does not include advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not track your activity across other companies' apps or websites. It does not send your scans, document names or editing activity to a developer-operated service. Your operating system or app store may separately process diagnostic or purchase information according to your settings and its privacy practices.

Retention, deletion and backups

Saved documents remain in the app until you delete them. Use Documents to delete a document from the library. Unused original images are cleaned up after saving, while processed caches and temporary sharing files may remain in app storage. Deleting a document does not promise secure erasure of every cached copy. Deleting the app removes its local app data according to your operating system's behavior. Device or cloud backups may contain app data depending on your system settings; manage those copies through your backup provider. LitePage does not provide its own cloud synchronization or backup service.

Your choices

You can use LitePage without creating an account, choose which images to import, manage camera and photo permissions, delete saved documents, and decide whether and where to share exported files. Keep control of exported copies and device backups through the apps or services that store them.

Policy updates

If LitePage's data practices change, this policy and its last-updated date will be updated. Review the policy when updating the app.
